Henry Goldfinch born 1820 Deptford, England died 1911 Milang, SA married 1845 in Adelaide to Jane Hillman born 1816 Launceston, Cornwall and died 1895 Strathalbyn, SA. They had 7 children.
Henry arrived in SA on the ship Recovery in 1839 and Jane arrived on 17 October 1837 on the Katherine Stewart Forbes with her two brothers John & Leonard.

Elizabeth Mary Ann 1848-1891 married Alfred Alexander Parnell
Henry 1850-1939 married Margaret Coad
Jane 1852-1934 married Arthur Inkster Murray
Leonard 1853-1920 married Mary McBaine nee Bourne
Frederic 1856-?
Thomas 1858-1941 married Johanna Agnes Lalor

Interested to know your source for birthplace of Henry being Deptford. Trying to determine if this Henry was the one born 1819 Hoath, Kent.

Re your querie about Margaret Williams b 1846.
Margaret d 19th June1875 atWaltona Swamp she was buried at Milang in "free ground" along with her daughter also Margaret who died on the same day, having been born on 6th June.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the same family, but, I'm trying to get hold of Jason Goldfinch who married Elizabeth...Don't know her last name but, yes the marriage took place in either 1980 or 81.
