William Lavington born 1825 Hartley Westpall, Hampshire, England, died SA after 1880. He married in 1849 in Adelaide, SA to Susan Cummings/Cummins.
William was the son of John Lavington & Jane (surname unknown). They had 7 children:-

- Mum of two and grandmother of eight, I have been researching my own family history for over 40 years. Other family members have asked me for help with their research and naturally I have oblidged. It is the thrill of the chase that keeps me going in my genie research. Nothing is more satisfying than finding a missing link. Except perhaps completing something that I have been creating. I'm also into things creative - I knit, I crochet and I sew.. and now I'm learning to spin as well. With all these grandkids, I spend time amusing them or sewing for them and making them toys and teddy bears as well. Their smiles and squeals of delight make it all worth while. Hi I'm Rebecca Lavington. I don't know much about the lavington side of my family as my father's (brian lavington) mum died when he was young. I know that my grandfather was Montague Charles lavington and he lived in Sussex.
Would be interested to see if any relation.
